Resumen

In this paper we show the utility of the Computer Assisted Laboratory (CAL) as a pedagogical tool to understand complex physical processes. In particular, we have applied the CAL to carry out a systematic experimental study of the different types of oscillatory motion, including chaotic, that can take place in the Pohl pendulum.
