Resumen
The ESA observatory INTEGRAL (INTErnational Gamma-Ray Astrophysics Laboratory) is dedicatedto fine imaging and spectroscopy in the gamma-ray range. There are four concurrent instruments:a gamma-ray imager, a gamma-ray spectrometrer, and an X-ray and optical monitors. It was launchedon October 17, 2002 and has been succesfully operating ever since. This paper gives an overview of theproperties of INTEGRAL and the main results obtained in its first 5 years of operation.Descargas
