Resumen

The monodisperse aerosol generation is based on the break-up of cylindrical liquid jets due to capillary instability produced by the interfacial tension. The behaviour of a typical monodisperse drop generator has been presented, and its experimental characterization by means of digital images. The images have revealed the liquid jets break-up in droplets of uniform size when the jet is vibrated to the Rayleigh frequency
